Nerdcore at San Japan

Good things keep happening to me, My CD is Ready (all I have to to is make track cuts), got accepted in the Boston Comedy Festival and now have a computer to call my own. I can now make flyers again and copy discs. Big Thank You to my Homie Steve from Steve's PC Repair for hooking it up. I've been hitting spots all over town. Trying to polish the sets I'll be doing for the Festival. Along the way selling bootlegs of my own Comedy CD. Last Friday I got to share the stage with buddies Cliff, Jay and Joshua at Tequila Rock Bar in Downtown San Antonio. The venue promoted the heck out of it and was packed with people. Next door at a music venue (same owners as the bar) were having a Creed Pre-Party. You couldn't ask for a better customer base of people that needed cheering up.

Saturday after teaching Comedy Defensive Driving at Maars Pizza and More I did another show downtown for the San Japan Anime Convention. It was another Nerdcore Comedy Show. The two that I've gotten lucky enough to do this summer have been fantastic. The audience is amazing, no heckling, no drunks, and they love it almost as much as I do. I only got to do 10 mins instead of 20, but I think it helped me sell more cds. For the bootlegs I only ask donations of whatever they think its worth, some people gimme a buck, some 3, 5 and had a couple people gimme 10. Its a good feeling knowing people enjoy your work. Sitting in the front row were "Hipster Power Rangers". I got to mess with them a bit and poke fun at their costumes, calling them Austin Power Rangers. They were kind enough to let me take a pic with them after the show.
